Red Oaks Head Into All-Star Break with Momentum and Three All-Star Selections

As the Raleigh Red Oaks head into the Old North State League All-Star break, the club has continued to show resilience, explosive offense, and the steady development that has defined the 2026 season. Every week has brought new contributors, clutch performances, and another step forward as the Red Oaks prepare for the second half of the summer.

The offense has been one of the team's biggest strengths. Jack McGeehan has been one of the league's hottest hitters, batting .465 with a 1.163 OPS while consistently setting the tone at the top of the lineup. Peyton Jones has reached base at an incredible rate, hitting .414 with a .564 on-base percentage, while Dominic Jones has provided middle-of-the-order power with five home runs and 21 RBIs. Adrian Gonzalez has also been a consistent offensive force, driving in 15 runs while collecting 17 hits.

On the mound, the Red Oaks have continued to receive quality innings from a diverse pitching staff, giving the club an opportunity to compete every night while developing some of the league's top collegiate talent.

The first half of the season has also been recognized across the league, as three Red Oaks have earned selections to represent Raleigh in the Old North State League All-Star Game.

Peyton Jones, Jack McGeehan, and Will Sword will proudly represent the Red Oaks, a testament to both their individual performances and the team's continued growth throughout the summer. Congratulations to all three players on a well-deserved honor.

With the All-Star break providing a brief opportunity to recharge, the Red Oaks now turn their attention to the stretch run. The team remains focused on finishing the season strong, continuing to improve each day, and giving fans exciting baseball throughout the second half of the schedule.

Thank you to everyone who has packed Wiley Warren Field, supported our players, and helped create an incredible atmosphere this summer. We can't wait to see you back at the ballpark as we make our push toward the postseason.
